The king is dead, long live the king!

Everyone was telling me – Tap 2 Tap is addictive but it looks like cra… eghm.. looks boring. You have to add graphics. You have to add animations. You have to add cute animals.

But I wasn’t ready for it. I knew I sucked at drawing – the only thing that I could draw was a fat-bottomed deformed Donald Duck like this:

Hugh Hefner 2.0

Two things in the Internet make more money than anything else – gambling and porn (and maybe pictures of puppies).

I didn’t have enough resources to open an on-line casino (would you like to play a game of high-roll roulette run on a server kept under my bed?). It is probably also not that legal.

Porn on the other hand… ok, I could do that. I just needed couple of volunteers, hotel room and a smartphone camera.

Add randomness to your life

Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook, because he liked looking at girls. I have created FlexiDice, because I liked looking at board games. The history was meant to repeat itself.

FlexiDice is an application for creating custom dice (one die, two dice; there is no thing like “dices”, goddamit!) for Android smartphones. It lets you specify how many sides a die should have (so not only 6, but whatever number you are dreaming of), you can put text or numbers on the sides, change text and background colors. It is a really cool thing… if you are into custom dice apps for Android…

Me too, me too!

I think everyone by now has heard about 2048 – a small on-line puzzle game that went viral and has reached an incredible following. If you have not played it, have a go… or keep reading to learn about something 26% better.

I have read about 2048 first time in Sydney Morning Herald from March 25th – so the craze has been going on for at least a week by then. I haven’t played the game – I just read the rules in the article, looked at the screenshot and a question came to my mind that must have been bothering human race since the dawn of the history – would it work in MS Excel?
