Hugh Hefner 2.0

Two things in the Internet make more money than anything else – gambling and porn (and maybe pictures of puppies).

I didn’t have enough resources to open an on-line casino (would you like to play a game of high-roll roulette run on a server kept under my bed?). It is probably also not that legal.

Porn on the other hand… ok, I could do that. I just needed couple of volunteers, hotel room and a smartphone camera.

Read, edit, sleep, repeat

After achieving outstanding success in Facebook advertising it was time to address my unaware fans directly. While checking out different possibilities, I came across Reddit.

Reddit (Read + Edit) is like an Internet forum where users can create normal posts or share links. The content can be then upvoted (similar to “Like” or “+1”) or downvoted (similar to “I hate you and I want to feed your corpse to puppies”). The sum of all upvotes and downvotes of a particular post makes up its points value. I like to have lots of points as it makes me more masculine.

Marketing 101

Tap2Tap was ready. Everybody wanted to play it, but no-one knew it existed. It was time to make some really serious investments in advertising on Facebook.

The aim of my campaign was to get as many likes as possible for my Facebook page. If friends see you like something, maybe they would be inclined to like/download the game as well?

It is a really cool thing… if you are into custom dice apps for Android…

Me too, me too!

I think everyone by now has heard about 2048 – a small on-line puzzle game that went viral and has reached an incredible following. If you have not played it, have a go… or keep reading to learn about something 26% better.

I have read about 2048 first time in Sydney Morning Herald from March 25th – so the craze has been going on for at least a week by then. I haven’t played the game – I just read the rules in the article, looked at the screenshot and a question came to my mind that must have been bothering human race since the dawn of the history – would it work in MS Excel?

Step 1 – finding a domain name. Sounds easy. Take some words from dictionary relating to IT, technology, science etc., go to one of the hundred domain name registrars, pay couple of bucks and earn millions. I wanted it to be a “.com”, because it is sounds cooler than “”, the business was meant to be worldwide and… it is a dotcom (I always wanted to have a dotcom)!
